Questions
The ones people
actually ask.
What does Autopliance actually produce?
A tamper-evident, archive-grade record of what your systems did with data, mapped to the frameworks you sit under, exported as a signed bundle a third party can verify independently.
How is this different from the compliance platform I already have?
We do a different job, and most of our users keep theirs.
They automate the work of compliance — collecting states, running tests, managing policies, chasing questionnaires. They do that well and we are not trying to replace it.
We make the evidence itself checkable. Their artifact is something your auditor has to trust; ours is something your auditor can verify, independently, without our cooperation.
Two other differences worth knowing: we support Julkri, Katakri and Pitukri, which none of them do at all, and we are a Finnish company hosting in Helsinki.
Where they are better: integration breadth, policy management, security questionnaires, auditor relationships. More on how the two fit together →
Do I have to replace my GRC platform?
No, and we would rather you didn't. Autopliance is an evidence layer that sits underneath whatever you already use.
Can my auditor or regulator verify a report without an Autopliance account?
Yes. That is the point. Verification uses software they hold and does not require the cooperation — or the permission — of the party being verified.
Do you really support Julkri, Katakri and Pitukri?
Yes, as first-class regimes alongside every other framework, at every paid tier, with no additional fee. Sample reports for each are published ungated so you can check the mapping before you talk to us.
To be precise about what that means: we support the frameworks. We are not accredited by, endorsed by, or acting on behalf of any Finnish authority, and we would not claim otherwise.
Is this a certificate?
No. It is technical-control evidence. No certificate, no accreditation, no opinion. We produce the material your auditor forms an opinion from.
Which frameworks do you support?
34 across EU, UK, US federal, global standards, sector regimes, Finnish sovereign frameworks, APAC and LatAm, and pharma serialisation. Every one, at every paid tier, with no per-framework fee. The full list →
Where is my data?
EU — Helsinki, Finland. Paraproven Oy is a Finnish company operating under EU law. Data-processing agreement and subprocessor list available; see legal and data protection.
Can I run this on my own infrastructure?
Not today. Autopliance is a hosted service on EU infrastructure. We are not going to give you a date for anything else.
How long do records last?
A seven-year retention floor, and they remain verifiable after the underlying cryptography has migrated.
What happens to my evidence if I stop paying?
A failed payment pauses your ability to create new reports. It never removes reports you have already produced — entitlements are checked when evidence is created, never when it is read.
Ending the account is a different question. When a subscription or trial ends, the account goes read-only and everything stays downloadable for 90 days, with one reminder at day 76. After that it is deleted.
If you need it kept beyond that, Autopliance Archive is €19/month and does only that. If you want it gone sooner, ask and we will delete it immediately.
Are you SOC 2 certified?
Not yet, and we would rather say so than be vague about it. We are a small company that built the evidence layer before building the paperwork about ourselves. It is on the roadmap and we will publish the report when it exists — which, given what we sell, seems like the minimum.
In the meantime: download any sample report, run the verifier, and check our central claim directly. That is a stronger assurance about this product than a certificate about our internal controls would be.
Who is behind this?
Autopliance is operated by Paraproven Oy in Helsinki, Finland, and is built on EdSSA — a cryptographic authentication and evidence technology with an active patent family. More on the technology page.
Still deciding?
The free tier answers most of it faster than we can. Real fleet, real anchors, no card.
